What to Expect at Your Massage
Please try and arrive at least ten minutes prior to your session if it is your first time working with me to allow time to do a brief intake form.
Clients will arrive in a quiet, comfortable and clean environment. We will briefly discuss your specific needs and injuries, then I will leave the room to prepare for your treatment while you undress to any degree that you are comfortable with. Depending on your specific needs, you will either start facing up or down fully under the sheets or blankets on a clean massage table. I will keep you appropriately draped at all times, only uncovering areas that I am working. In the Thai style of massage, no oil is used, and all work is done fully clothed on a mattress on the floor.
My style of massage is integrative, so I will be incorporating many techniques to address any issues I find, with your permission. This may include doing a hybrid style of western and Thai style techniques. This massage is to your benefit and yours alone and I hope to work together to achieve your goals. I encourage open communication around pressure as well as discomfort of any kind. I will be checking in with you throughout your session to ensure your needs are being met to the best of my ability.

Thai Massage

Thai massage, Thai yoga massage, or Thai yoga therapy incorporates acupressure, energy meridian work, and yoga-like stretching. Thai massage is different from many Western forms of massage in that there is no oil used, the therapist uses a mattress on the floor instead of a table, and the client remains completely clothed throughout the session. It is like someone "doing yoga to you." Thai massage applies deep but broad pressure making it the perfect complement to any athletic regime or sport. Post-Massage Stretch | add $20 | add 15 minutes
Sound Therapy | add $15 | add 15 minutes
Sound healing has been used for thousands of years around the world to heal both mental and physical ailments. It is a very effective form of alternative medicine because it works directly on the body’s energy field and chakras rather than the body itself. When the energy body is healthy and balanced, its own natural healing abilities are enhanced.
When we experience stress, illness, injury, or emotional trauma, our subtle body becomes depleted of vital life force energy. Our immune system weakens, making us susceptible to disease. We lose our ability to heal ourselves naturally. Sound therapy uses the power of sound to restore balance to the body’s energy fields.

I will incorporate the use of crystal singing bowls around and on the body throughout the treatment as well as at the very end.
At the end of your treatment, I will leave the room and give at least 10-15 minutes of integration time for you to relax on the table undisturbed.
